We’re a group of passionate businesses, charities and other partners, who have all come together to form Bedford Giving with a united single goal – to help create a brighter future for the next generation in Bedford.
We believe everyone in Bedford has something to give – time, skills, funds – and by all working together, we can achieve more than we could on our own.
Together we’re kick starting a range of transformational projects. And we need your help.
Our Vision:
Our dreams are bold but rooted in what we know is needed. Together, we want to:
- Expand opportunities and aspirations for young people - we aim to broaden access to mentoring, work experience, and skill-building programmes that prepare young people for the future.
- Prioritise mental health and wellbeing - mental health matters. We’re committed to creating accessible resources and training that empower young people, and their support networks to tackle challenges head-on.
- Create accessible youth activities and youth spaces – driven by what young people have told us we’re passionate about helping create affordable, accessible and local things to do in spaces that are safe.
- Providing a platform for youth voices and community engagement – we building new partnerships with local schools, businesses, and charities to build a more connected Bedford where every young person has a champion in their corner.
- Innovate for impact - from digital campaigns to creative community hubs, we’re dreaming big to ensure that every initiative has a lasting and meaningful effect.
